i’m about to lose my mind!!! well the feeling is starting to subside now. but my niece and nephew came to visit from Florida and they took over our computers. all we heard for the entire week and weekend was junk like “poppin my collar,” “i’m in luv wit a stripper,” “lean wit it,” and many more songs that they’re passing off as music. I feel like I have to write about the stuff that’s currently popular because it’s gotten out of hand. i mean it’s ridiculous! is this the stuff that they’ll consider classic in a few years? if so, that’s sad. ok, i’m through venting. i’ll have something different to talk about tomorrow. peace.
check out the video, Pizza Surveillance Feature, on DemocracyTV– it deals with the issue of privacy infringement.

For those who do not know the story of Darryl Hunt, it goes like this: tried and convicted of murder while continuously maintaining his innocence; was cleared in 1994 through DNA testing but remained locked up for an additional 10 years. The Trials of Darryl Hunt is a documentary about the events that transpired in Hunt’s life, beginning with the accusation of

murder in 1984. The film garnered the Official Selection-Documenary Competition at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. For all of the local folks, you’ll be able to check out the film in Durham at the Full Frame Documentary Festival April 6-9, 2006
