ConvergeSouth 2007: Spreading The Link Love

Today I was going through my purse and came across the many cards I collected from bloggers, photographers, techies, and just overall great people from ConvergeSouth.

First, I think Sue Polinsky needs to be applauded. Organizing ConvergeSouth I’m sure brought many headaches, long days, and lots of frustration. She seems to be fairly dedicated to strengthing Greensboro’s presence and support for the local conference.

Ed Cone (who was blogging throughout the conference) discusses ConvergeSouth’s future…and take a look at the number of comments received. Whoa!

I heard people raving about ConvergeSouth Music (”The Verge”). What can I say? Sean is a hard-working man, always creating.

Andy did a fantastic job with the first annual ConvergeSouth Film Festival. He put together an excellent set of films.

I chatted with Michael Dunn who took some amazing photos of Molly McGinn at The Verge.

Met Mark Welker, who is also an awesome photographer.

Discovered Billy Jones is running for mayor.

Wish I was able to chat longer with Tiffany Brown.

Gained some useful SEO knowledge from Brandon Pierce of ShifterTV.

If you are interested in visiting some of the best small towns in NC and the surrounding states, you should visit John Delconte’s site.

Met Jason McHugh, who I originally thought was with Current since he was sandwiched in between Saskia Wilson-Brown and Brandon Gross (I arrived after the introductions). Later learned he was in the independent film biz.

Bora Zivkovic was trying to garner support for the Science Blogging Conference, and I told him how I was once a biology major (in my former life).

At the film fest I met Jude Nagurney-Camwell, who had such a peaceful and beautiful aura. And she gave me her raffle door prize. Awww, thanks :)

I would be pleased to run into any of these individuals again.
