I’ve been blogging for 2 1/2 years and have never participated in any sort of weblog awards. This year I have taken it upon myself to nominate a blog I think is a “Blog to Watch.” I don’t know how other bloggers feel about nominated their own blog but I feel so strongly about my newest site Eco-Friendly Momma that I decided to nominate my own blog. Is that wrong? Anyway, they don’t have a green/ecofriendly category so I chose the “Blog to Watch” category. The rules state that we can not nominate our own blogs but everyone does it anyway…so I’ve heard….*LOL*
Some of the awards have prizees attached….depending on which sponsors they have received… it’s all in fun! No one takes it seriously! It’s just a way to have fun and recognize each other’s work in the blogosphere!
