ConvergeSouth 2007: Spreading The Link Love

Today I was going through my purse and came across the many cards I collected from bloggers, photographers, techies, and just overall great people from ConvergeSouth.

First, I think Sue Polinsky needs to be applauded. Organizing ConvergeSouth I’m sure brought many headaches, long days, and lots of frustration. She seems to be fairly dedicated to strengthing Greensboro’s presence and support for the local conference.

I figure after a year and a half, it won’t hurt to try. So I’ll just keep doing what I’m doing (only better) and see what happens. Anyway, I mention all this because it connects to the SEO session I attended. Believe it or not, I didn’t know what those three letters meant until about 2 weeks ago when I read a particular comment on a blog post. So, I’m all excited about my discovery of SEO and then realize there’s a session at ConvergeSouth on the subject. The presenter, Brandon Pierce from ShifterTV, was very thorough. I came away with some great tips and tools that I will definitely begin implementing to increase my blog traffic. And good news for anyone wanting the info. He made the presentation available here.
